Description
Medicinal product name: VIPROSAL B® Ointment
Name and dose of the active ingredient: 1 g of the ointment contains the following active ingredients: Vipera berus venom 0.05 IU, Camphor racemic 30 mg (Camphora racemica), Pinus pinaster turpentine oil 30 mg (Terebinthini aetheroleum), salicylic acid 10 mg (Acidum salicylicum) and the following excipients: white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, hard paraffin, sodium cetostearyl sulfate, glycerol, sodium chloride, purified water.
Pharmaceutical form: Ointment. White or slightly yellowish ointment with a smell of camphor and turpentine.
Therapeutic indications: The ointment is traditionally used externally as an analgesic to relieve neuralgic and joint pain.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the ointment excipients; ulcerated skin or skin with other conditions; cerebral and coronary circulation abnormalities; tendency to vessel constrictions; severe hepatic or renal impairment.
